Pastor Peter comes from a family of five children. They were all Catholics. When Pastor Peter was only 12 years old, his father died of asthma, by an heart-attack. The once well to do family was struck by poverty. The mother had to take care of all the five children with whatever she could. The children couldn't study further. Pastor Peter himself studied only up to the 10 th standard and immediately started to work. Pastor Peter got married to a Hindu girl called Jayshree. In the year 1988, when Pastor Peter worked for a company, he met some believer brothers who shared the gospel with him and he got saved. From then on he never looked back. His thirst for the truth kept increasing and he began to work in the ministry with great enthusiasm. His wife Jayshree also became very strong in the Lord.

The Vision & the Mandate

The very next year i.e. on September 23 rd 1989, God showed Pastor Peter in a vision a long stretch of land that was filled with multitudes of people. God gave him a mandate from Luke 4: 18 , saying, “ Go and preach the gospel to the poor. Call all the down-trodden and the needy, the fatherless and the widows and tell them that I want to bless them and heal them .” With nothing in hand, he began the meetings in a small rented classroom, and a handful of people. They had a small second hand bongo to help the singing.

One day, God spoke to Pastor Peter saying “You minister to the poor and the needy and I will help build the church.” Pastor Peter heeded to God's voice and took to the streets witnessing and calling people for the meetings. The poor started pouring in and God started moving mightily. The classroom began to overflow and the whole surrounding area used to get filled with people to witness and receive the touch of God in their lives. Unbelievable miracles, signs and wonders made the people go hungry for the God whom Pastor Peter preached.

The vision fulfilled

After a couple of years Pastor Peter was able to purchase the same land that he had seen in the vision. It is a long stretch of land and truly it now gets filled with thousands of hungry souls week after week. The Saturday Blessing Meetings have become the talk of the town. Many people gather every week to be blessed and get saved. Tremendous testimonies are heard every week. The church has a membership of nearly 8000 members. Today, the present land also does not suffice for the many who come to receive Jesus. And so after much prayer, Pastor Peter managed to strike a deal on another bigger piece of land for the meetings. Though the cost is very high and every month he has to pay a huge installment, faith says that God will meet the need.

Pastor, Teacher and Evangelist

God is using Pastor Peter in all three offices of Pastor, Teacher and Evangelist. His teachings are very powerful and full of revelations. To hear him, many leaders and ministers from various churches attend his Discipleship Meetings held every Mondays. His wife Jayshree is also being used mightily by God and her translation in Marathi has won many a hearts. Praise God.

Today Pastor is a much sought after man of God and is called to minister from all over the country.
