Wife of Founder-Pastor Peter David Silway, Pastor Jayshree Peter Silway is the Co-Pastor of VWC. Hailing from a Hindu-Gujarati background, Pastor Jayshree experienced the touch of Jesus along with her husband in the year1989. Though there were plenty of oppositions from all quarters, the powerful infilling of the Holy Spirit swept her away above all confrontations, giving her the strength to stand firm for the name of her Saviour & Lord.

Jayshree Panarkar, as she was known before her marriage, came from a Gujarati family. Very reclusive in nature, a faithful child of the parents, Jayshree was a very homely kind of girl. Being the youngest in a family of three girls and a boy, she was the darling of everyone.

In the year 1986, Jayashree got married to Peter David Silway who was working in a company at that time. They were leading a normal and peaceful life together. Very soon the loving Lord Jesus intervened in their lives and introduced Himself to them through one of His faithful servants. Both Peter and Jayshree experienced the sweet love of their Saviour Jesus and they were convinced that their life belonged to Him now. Being filled with the power of the Holy Spirit they joined a small believer's group and became strong witnesses. At the same time God started blessing and prospering them in all fronts. But this never stopped Jayshree and Peter in continuing the walk of faith. Instead their hunger for God grew all the more. Zeal for His house was eating them up and that's when God visited Peter and showed him the vision that was to become a reality soon. Peter received a mandate from God from Luke 4:18, ‘The Lord has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor……' Taking the baton from there, Peter and Jayshree never looked back. With nothing in hand, they traversed the prophetic path, only looking on to God.
